1、 Data selection


When selecting iron sheet materials, the main consideration should be whether there is rust or significant corrosion on the surface. When inspecting welding rods, it is important to pay attention to whether there are any defects in the welding rods. If the appearance of the welding rod shows bending or fracture, it should be thoroughly inspected and any quality issues found should be addressed.


When selecting second-hand steel pipes, attention should be paid to checking their appearance for rust and corrosion, and to paying attention to whether the wall thickness of the steel pipes meets the planning requirements.


2、 Inspection and testing


For an experienced construction team, the quality of second-hand steel is often guaranteed. However, in order to avoid quality issues, strict testing and inspection are also necessary. Mainly including the following aspects:

In the experiment, the strength of welding joints should be tested according to the planning requirements, and any welding joints that do not meet the requirements should be treated.


3、 Welding process


When welding second-hand steel structures, appropriate welding processes and materials need to be used. Generally speaking, arc welding, gas welding, submerged arc welding and other methods are common. These welding methods can be selected based on specific situations in practical applications.
